Flowers for School
There is a tradition for elementary school students to give bouquets of flowers to their teacher on the first day of school.
Some people hurriedly buy them on their way to school while others, to make a positive impression, prepare in advance.
In this regard, we decided to share a few tips.
What Flowers are Best Not Given to the Teacher?
1. Short-lived flowers like wildflowers. Most will shed their petals by the end of the day.
2. Oddly enough, flowers with a smell. Some, like Lilies for example, can give people headaches. Others can trigger allergies.
3. Red roses. Usually given as a declaration of love and passion, they’re probably best avoided (unless you really have a thing for the teacher).
4. Beware market flowers, they are sometimes stale and will simply wither in the heat.
